Where are your Betclic hand histories?
On December 9, 2024, Betclic left the iPoker network for in-house software. This client no longer creates a local history folder: recovery is done through export.
Recover your recent hands (in-house client, since December 2024)
- 1
Open the Betclic Poker client and look for the history download feature. According to player reports, this export is said to be limited to once per day.
- 2
Another route: write to Betclic support, giving your username and the period you want. Betclic sends you back a .zip archive.
- 3
Unzip the archive, then import the extracted history files (.txt or .xml) onto the Eureka import page.
Old hands (iPoker client, before December 2024)
C:\Users\[YourName]\AppData\Local\Betclic Poker.fr\data\[Username]\History\DataThese files come from the old iPoker client. They remain importable as long as you have kept them on your disk.
Which files can you import into Eureka?
History files extracted from the Betclic .zip archive (.txt or .xml)
.txt files from the old Betclic iPoker client
A .zip archive that has not been unzipped
Tournament summary or recap files
Screenshots or PDF exports
Review your hands in 3 steps
- 1
Recover your archive or your files using one of the methods above, then unzip the .zip archive.
- 2
Drop the extracted history files (.txt or .xml) onto the Eureka import page.
- 3
Replay each hand street by street in the replayer, on your own or with the coach's feedback.
Frequently asked questions
Since December 2024, the Betclic in-house software no longer creates a local folder. You recover your hands by exporting from the client or by request to support, which delivers them in a .zip archive to unzip.
On December 9, 2024, Betclic left the iPoker network for in-house software that no longer saves hand histories locally. It is a deliberate change: you have to go through the export.
Use the history download feature in the client (limited to once a day according to player reports), or request your hands from support, specifying your username and the period.
Yes, for Eureka. The importer accepts .txt and .xml files, not archives: unzip the .zip and import the history files it contains. Some third-party tools, on the other hand, ask for the archive intact.
On the old iPoker client, they were in AppData\Local\Betclic Poker.fr\data\[Username]\History\Data. These .txt files remain importable if you have kept them.
The new Betclic format is supported, but some tournaments (buy-in, re-entry, knockouts) caused import issues at the time of the switch. Spin formats import more easily.
Yes. Eureka is a free web replayer that runs in your browser, with no installation and no tracker.
