Enable hand history saving in PokerStars
1. Open PokerStars → Settings (bottom left of the lobby)
2. Go to Playing History → Hand History → check "Save My Hand History"
3. Check the destination folder under "Where To Save" and play a test hand
Where to find your PokerStars files?
📁 Windows
The path may differ if you customized the folder in Settings → Playing History → Hand History → "Where To Save".
🍎 macOS
The ~/Library folder is hidden by default. Use Finder → Go → Go to Folder... and paste the path.
⚠️ Activation required
If no files appear, make sure "Save My Hand History" is checked in your PokerStars client settings.
Formats & precautions
Import
.txt files from the HandHistory folder (one file per table/tournament)
Avoid
Tournament Summary files don't contain hand details
Tip
By default PokerStars keeps hand histories for 30 days. Remember to import them regularly or increase the retention period in the settings.
Warning
The PokerStars mobile app does not support hand history export. Use the desktop client (Windows or Mac).
How to import into Eureka Poker
1. Locate the HandHistory folder in your PokerStars directory
2. Select the desired .txt files
3. In Eureka Poker → Import → drag and drop the files
4. Your hands appear in the replayer
Common issues
| No files found | Enable "Save My Hand History" in Settings → Playing History → Hand History |
| Unrecognized format | Make sure you're importing .txt files from the HandHistory folder (not tournament summaries) |
| Path not found | Check the path in Settings → Playing History → Hand History → "Where To Save" |
